Founded in 2002 by Hamid Memon, Shahin Foundation was created to uplift underprivileged children and communities. From a single room in Vatva to four active branches, we have grown our support network to reach over 800 children, including more than 150 orphaned students. Here’s how we work to create lasting impact.

Our journey began with children captivated by the free cricket equipment and books we provided—a simple gesture that grew into a community of learning and support. Today, we remain committed to ensuring our students’ well-being by staying connected with their families, updating them on classroom activities through WhatsApp, and reaching out if students miss classes.

Beyond academics, we offer a range of health-focused programs, from thalassemia screenings to blood donation camps, promoting a healthy lifestyle and awareness in our communities. Annual events such as essay writing competitions, sports tournaments, and student felicitation programs foster a sense of accomplishment and community pride.

Educate

At Shahin Foundation, education is at the core of everything we do. From our beginnings helping with homework and coaching cricket, we have expanded to offer a wide range of learning opportunities, including tuition, computer skills, English-speaking, and specialized classes like glass painting and karate. These programs equip students with essential skills to pursue higher education and career paths.

We also guide students in exploring scholarships and provide motivation and mind-training programs. Additionally, we hold professional cricket coaching camps and host inter-branch sports competitions, giving students a platform to turn their passions into potential careers.

Empower

Empowerment is the driving force behind Shahin Foundation’s work. We strive to instill confidence and community responsibility in our students, encouraging many to give back by volunteering and supporting physically challenged peers in their exams. Our students have gone on to pursue careers in fields like Diploma Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, and Law, making us immensely proud of their achievements.
